Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she relocated into Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. Her siblings include an older brother named Gregory and a younger one known as Evan. She began her career as an entertainer when she was nine and was modeling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she was studying the acting of Sanford Meisner techniques for three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the actors to receive this kind of instruction. After moving from Los Angeles, she got her first lead role in Beverly Hills, 90210. Soon after, she scored the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her own stunts and established herself as an athlete. She was also represented by Matt LeBlanc, so through her agent for talent, she was able to secure a regular spot on Friends.
